Europa League: Man Utd ends season trophyless after Sevilla defeat

Manchester United have eliminated from the Europa League, following a 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the semi-final on Sunday night.

Substitute Luuk De Jong snuck in behind the United defence to net the late winner in the 78th minute.

With this Europa League exit, Manchester United have now gone three years without a trophy for the first time since 1989.

It is also their their third semi-final defeat of the season, having lost at the same tage in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
